Only minutes from Croft Meadows Farm is The Ashes Barn. This is an exclusive use venue, meaning you and your guests will have the entire 50-acre farm to yourself on your wedding day. The grounds contain everything you’d imagine for a perfect English farm, including a 17thcentury stone bridge, manicured formal lawns, a lake and ponds, a Grade II listed manor house, and several Highland cattle. You and your guests will love the rustic feel of authentic stone barns and courtyards for the ceremony, reception, and after-party. The property’s stone barns are also licensed for civil ceremonies and unions.
Dunwood Hall, near Leek

Only a short drive away from our self-catering cottage, this Grade II listed Victorian estate home is family-owned and operated, so you’re sure to receive a personal touch. In fact, the venue manager grew up in Dunwood Hall and now guides couples planning to spend their big day on the property. On-site catering and bartending means you can tick off these major items in one go. For indoor receptions, the house has several rooms that have been lovingly restored to their full Victorian splendour. The building itself offers unique photo opportunities with its Gothic inspired design. With over five acres of beautifully maintained gardens, including fairy dell ponds and fountains, your special day will provide a true taste of the English countryside to your guests.
Devonshire Dome, Buxton
Just a little hop from the holiday cottageis the Devonshire Dome. In the 18thcentury, the building served as the stable block for the fifth Duke of Devonshire’s horses and servants, but now it is a unique wedding venue for couples who want something a bit different. The venue’s massive dome’s central skylight illuminates the interior with picture-perfect hues. With a huge square footage and beautiful hardwood floors, you easily have space for all of your wedding events
